Tiger SA Dagger RZM 7/68

Tiger SA Dagger RZM 7/68

SA dagger by Lauterjung & Co., Tiger, RZM 7/68 dated 1941, this mark is scarcer than the one missing the 1941. Blade shows lots of cross grain, some age related staining but overall its very good. The handle is perfect as is its fit too the nickel plated guards, which are in excellent condition and have taken on a lovely patina. National eagle and SA roundel are in excellent condition. The scabbard is the darkest of brown and rates excellent. The hanger is a good one and the fastener is marked RZM 5/8 which is Assman & Sohne.

Klittermann and Moog KS98

Klittermann and Moog KS98

A tough to find maker, Klittermann and Moog stag handled KS98, personally I’ve not seen this maker with stag, I’m sure they’re out there somewhere. Blade is very nice, it does have slight movement.
Green felt in place. Nice patina on the rubbed pommel where it’s met it’s frog. Leather buffer in place. Scabbard has original paint and you can see the line where the frog has protected the paint underneath.
A rare combination of Stag and maker.

A.R.P. North East Grouping. Town and County titles of Longbenton and Northumberland. The beret is in fantastic condition, no moth damage, it is dated 1942 (O) but I’m struggling to read most of the rest. The badges are dated 1938 (on the beret) and 1939 and the maker is J C the Initials are those of Sir John Herbert McCutcheon Craig, Deputy Master and Controller of the Royal Mint from 1938, the mark was used until 1942.
The First Aid bag is in great condition and a scarce bit of kit.
